This policy covers: flippress.app (the “Website”), the FlipPress iOS app (the “App”), and the FlipPress Chrome Extension (the “Extension”).
This Privacy Policy explains how FlipPress ("FlipPress," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our Website, App, and Chrome Extension that help you create and manage marketplace listings.
The term "Etsy" is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. This application uses the Etsy API but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy, Inc.

Categories of information may include: name, email address, country/region, marketplace usernames, marketplace connection tokens or session credentials, listing content (titles, descriptions, prices, photos), your settings and preferences, and limited technical data (such as device type and basic usage logs).
You may use portions of the public-facing site anonymously.
The Extension helps you create and manage listings on supported marketplaces you choose to connect. It runs only on those marketplace sites and FlipPress pages (for example, domains like mercari.com, poshmark.com, etsy.com, or facebook.com/marketplace) and does not access your general browsing history.
The Extension does not collect or transmit your browsing history. It operates only on the domains listed in its host permissions and does not run on unrelated sites.
To keep you signed in and automate actions you request (e.g., drafting or publishing a listing), the Extension may access limited session data from a connected marketplace (such as cookies, or data akin to localStorage/sessionStorage keys) only for the sites you enable. We encrypt these session credentials at rest and use them solely to perform the tasks you initiate. We do not use this data for advertising or tracking across unrelated websites.
The Extension requests only the Chrome permissions required to automate the listing flow: the ability to run on the marketplace domains you enable, inject scripts to fill forms and upload photos you provide, detect navigation steps, and store short-lived configuration locally. The Extension does not log keystrokes, capture unrelated page content, or sell data.
Any data accessed by the Extension is used solely for user-initiated functionality (creating and publishing your listings). It is not sold, shared for advertising, or used for cross-site tracking. Limited operational data (e.g., a listing URL and an internal row ID) may be stored to complete the task you request.
Automation depends on the marketplace’s current website. If a marketplace changes their site or rules, the Extension may need updates. We follow marketplace terms and apply rate limits to avoid abusive behavior.

On our Website and App, we may use strictly necessary cookies and privacy-respecting analytics that do not build profiles for advertising. The Extension uses browser storage only as needed to remember your preferences and carry out automation on connected marketplaces.
“Do Not Track” signals may not be fully recognized by all parts of the service, but we avoid cross-site behavioral advertising.
We do not sell or trade your personal information. We share limited information with trusted service providers that help us operate FlipPress (e.g., cloud hosting, databases, storage, email). These providers are bound by confidentiality and only process data on our instructions.
We share the content you choose to publish (e.g., listings) with the marketplaces you connect. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect you or other users, or to defend our legal rights.
We do not share your session data with third parties for advertising.
We retain account data for as long as you maintain an account. Marketplace connection tokens or session credentials are retained only as needed to provide the service and are deleted when you disconnect a marketplace, request deletion, or after a period of inactivity.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or object to/limit certain processing. If we transfer your information to other countries, we will protect it as described here and as required by applicable laws, using appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses where relevant).
FlipPress is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
